The Gucci Engagement

I had been wanting Gucci perfume for some time. Every time my boyfriend and I would walk past the perfume at Galleria I would have to stop and put some on my wrist. I'd say, "this is what I want...it comes in this cute little pink bottle." He kept telling me not to buy it because he was going to get it for me.

His birthday was coming up in August and his mom was flying in from New Orleans. His mom, my mom and his cousin were all over celebrating his birthday. We were all watching him open his presents and after he had opened the last one, he got up and grabed a shopping bag and started walking over to me with this suspicious smile on his face. He pulled out of the bag a beautifully wrapped box - it had cellophane around it so I could see it was the perfume! Around the top of the perfume nozzle I could see a ring! He got on one knee and said, "Babe, will you marry me?" Of course I said yes...it was the most amazing moment!

While we were hugging and crying our moms were taking pictures of everything. It's so nice to look back on those pictures and see our faces.
