Jeane and i were getting dressed to attend a black-tie progressive New Year's Eve dinner party which I purchased 2 bottles of Dom Peringon for that evening. After I had finished dressing, first I went into her living room while she finished dressing in her new dress. I waited for her to enter the room. As she entered I poured 2 glasses (in Waterford crystal) of Dom. The ring was on my pinky finger. As I toasted to the New Year I dangled the ring on my finer which she never took notice (bummer!) But I thought at the time she did and when she cocked her head funny as to look at my hand I slowly sat her down on this chair, dropped to one knee and professed my love telling her I had been looking for her all my life. I asked her to marry me, she immediatly said yes I then gave her the ring by putting it on her finger. We left to party the rest of the night with all our friends.
